Abandon all hope, ye who enter here

I went to a day course on Dante’s, Inferno and the speaker had an interesting slide of the detail of a joke wikipedia entry on-

Hell

I don’t think I’ll be travelling there soon. *g*

He also found a very interesting image of the inferno with the representation of an additional tenth circle in hell. I definitely think it is required and would be chockers. *g*

Ooo! I just noticed that the top name near the first circle of hell is Acheron. I looked up the name in Wikipedia and it says that –

In Dante‘s Inferno, the Acheron river forms the border of Hell. 

So old Joe Plaice may have been right, the phantom ship was from the hot place indeed.*g*
